Extending Oasis montaj

Oasis montaj is configured by the loading of menus that in turn load task bars and organize how various features and functions appear to the user.  The actual functionality behind a menu selection or a button is coded into an extension referred to as a GX, which can be either a compiled Geosoft GX, a .NET XTool or a Python script.  Each of these development environments access Geosoft functions using the GX Developer API.

This section documents how to write extensions using the GX Language, Python and .NET.
